Blockchain technology is promising as a platform for providing solutions to global problems such as
(1) digital IDs for health services for refugees
(2) trading in decarbonised energy such as renewable energy and hydrogen ,
(3) low-commission, non-discriminatory international remittances
(4) management of supply chains and commodity markets
as the basis for providing solutions to global problems.
An energy trading system, EDISON, has been developed and will be launched at the Kyoto University Graduate School of Comprehensive Ars Vivendi
