Prof. Yuichi Ikeda participated in a panel discussion at UBRI Connect 2022 (
UBRI Connect is an international conference that aims to bring together the world’s top academics, researchers and thinkers to showcase blockchain initiatives, share academic knowledge and promote future research and collaboration. This year (2022), the conference was held on 21 and 22 September at the Business School of University College London.
The conference agenda included decentralised finance (DeFi), smart contracts, blockchain-based applications for social benefit, blockchain security and governance, and central bank digital currency (CBDC).
Prof Yuichi Ikeda discussed blockchain-based energy trading systems in the Sustainability panel. This panel discussion is a result of the EDISON Demonstration Project of the Social Innovation Centre Blockchain Research Area, in which 17 students of the General Ars Vivendi participate.
